QUESTIONS

ANSWERS

How are you keeping Guests and Staff Safe?

Our cleaning staff is using the cleaning agents recommended by the CDC. We have maintenance and office staff also helping with sanitizing common areas. We provide soap in the bathrooms for hand washing & have hung signs explaining the CDC's protocols to safe hand washing. We have hand sanitizer outside the bathrooms and a no-touch hand sanitizer station in the lobby.

Is CCCR Open?

Currently the office is open, but we are closing the store to cut down on any transmission of the virus to surfaces in the store. You can however call in an order if you need items and we will bring out to your car. We we will get your credit card and process it then bring you a receipt. You can have your trunk open and we will place the items in your trunk. This will cut down on spreading germs from one customer to another.

What is the cancellation policy?

Are there any changes due to the virus restrictions?

Normal policy is: You must cancel 2 weeks prior to arrival in order to get a refund on your stay. There is a 10% or $10 processing fee, whichever is greater. We do not give refunds on holidays.

Due to the virus, we will issue a full credit for a future reservation on holidays.

However for all other cancellations, we can either issue you a credit of the full amount for a future reservation. -OR- we can issue a refund minus the processing fee listed above.

However, you have to call us and cancel. If we hold the site and you are a no-show, there will be no credit or refund. Please note, any online booking fees cannot be refunded since they are paid to an outside booking engine.

I am Canadian and cannot come due to the new restrictions?

If you call us, we will cancel your reservation and refund  your credit card, but we have to keep the processing fee of $10 or 10%, whichever is greater. You also have the option of keeping the full credit for a future stay with no processing fees. Please note, any online booking fees cannot be refunded since they are paid to an outside booking engine.

If I have to shorten my stay will I get a refund?

Yes. If you were able to make it to our park, but have to leave due to travel restrictions or sick family we will issue you a refund for the days you are not staying. Please note, any online booking fees cannot be refunded since they are paid to an outside booking engine.

Will the pool be open?

We hope things will be business as usual for the summer. Our pool normally opens on Memorial Weekend. However, this is something we will have to take a wait and see approach on.

What are your hours of operation?

Currently we are open 9am -  1pm and 5pm - 7pm. If we are asked to close our office, we will still be able to take payments over the phone. The hours may change since calls will have to be forwarded. If we do not answer, leave a voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Can I still camp if the office is closed?

Our thoughts are, that as long as you can travel, YES, you can still camp. You are in a self contained RV and our campsites are spread out based on health department guidelines, so you should not have a problem camping. We do not believe the government will shut down private campgrounds, just the offices of campgrounds. You will most likely need a FHU site though because they can order us to shut down the bathrooms if we have no staff to maintain it.

Can we have a campfire?

As long as you keep the 6 foot separation from other guests, you can most likely have a campfire. There will be no large gatherings of groups based on the guidelines set forth by the governor.

Is there a minimum booking requirement?

We have minimums, but during this crisis, we will try our best to help anyone get off the road that needs to. Please call and we will see what we can do to accommodate you. Our goal is to provide solutions at this time and be as helpful to our guests as we can be.

Can I book online?

Yes! Please click on the BOOK ONLINE tab. Please make sure to read all the booking considerations before booking your reservation online. Certain sites will only be available by calling though.

Will the bathrooms be open?

As of 3/20/20 our restrooms are open. However, it appears that we will be getting word soon that we have to close them. At that point, you will have to rely on your own bathrooms.

We will not be allowing tent campers or pop-ups without their own bathrooms due to this restriction from the Ohio Department of Health.

Can I rent a cabin?

Our local health department suggests that we do not allow guests into rentals until we get the ok, so we will not be taking reservations for the rentals before Memorial Day.
